I go back and forth between Personal and Plan B. I loved the Debt this year. Any episode that shows Deeks serious side is a treat for me because you always get the comic side of him (for good reason) but to see the darker side of the character is really the most interesting.

I haven't seen those eps yet. I really enjoyed Special Delivery. I loved the Deeks/Kensi interaction.

1 - Plan B (2x22), a fantastic episode (I like Ray too) 2 - Personnal (2x17), just wow 3 - Human traffic (2x01), the real first episode centered on Deeks 4 - The debt (3x10), even I'm a little bit disappointed, it would be better 5 - Deliverance (2x10), because it's for me the beginning for my love fo Deeks and Densi

I liked that you added the first show that sharted the beginning of your love for Densi. I think my show would have been The Job.

My absolute favourite NCIS LA ep is Personal, hands down. Mainly because it's such a Deeks-centred ep, and even when he's not on screen, it's still all about him. ECO just did such a wonderful job with all the different facets of Deeks's character, and the closing scene with Deeks and Hetty is one of my all time favourites of *any* show.
Second favourite would be Human Traffic. Again because we get to see more of ECO's range as an actor, but also (again!) the Deeks & Hetty scene. They're the pairing that really make the show for me!

Yes, I love the Hetty/Deeks connection too. Did you see the smile he gave Hetty after this week's show-The Watchers? You can tell how much he respects and likes her as a person. And I think she has a soft spot in her heart for him too. I love watching the paring on screen too. Of course, ECO has said how much he loves working with Linda so I'm sure it carries over on to the screen.

In one of the the special features on the S2 DVDs, ECO was talking about Hetty and how she's his parents favourite character on the show "I'm their kid and she's their favourite!" I don't think Hetty would play favourites, but she definitely does have a soft spot for Deeks. Maybe it's because he's the 'baby' of the team i.e. the most recent of her additions.

Yes, I remember laughing pretty hard when he said that about his parents!
Hetty definately wants to make sure she did the right thing when she brought Deeks into the fold....so I think she has a vested interest in Deeks' role as a part of the team. Besides I think she really likes the guy too and she can always count on him to make her smile.

I totally agree with you Phillydi with your statement. I also love the serious side of Deeks and wish it would show up more in the show. Hopefully in Season 4? With that in mind: My top 5 episodes: 1) 2X3 Borderline (First time I saw anything resembling Densi) 2) 2x17 Personal (a favorite I am sure on any Densi shipper's list!) 3) 2x21 Plan B (Deeks in his darkest role yet and Kensi trying to keep up) 4) 3x17 Blye, K Part 2 (Some great Densi moments!) 5) 3X22 Neighborhood Watch (Need I say more!) Honorable Mentions 1X19 Hand to Hand (Loved seeing Deeks being shown as a possible thug/criminal and the fact that Densi didn't even exist at that moment) 3x5 Sacrifice (Loved seeing Kensi deal with Deeks and Eva)

I, too, love all the episodes mentioned. Another of my favorites is Bounty (2x8), especially the scene in the car towards the end when Deeks explains his choice of weapon. Another I'd add to the list is Patriot Acts (3x20) because the banter between Deeks and Kensi was so playful. The look on Nell's face at the chaps comment was priceless.

Another of my favorites is Bounty (2x8), especially the scene in the car towards the end when Deeks explains his choice of weapon. Whoops! Yes, that episode definitely should have been on my list. The first real Densi scene where you can see Deeks finally start to trust Kensi was when he shared that personal info on his gun. And the smile on Kensi after he did that was very telling. Plus you also get another "save" from Deeks when Jafar was fighting Kensi in the alley. Kensi actually was getting beat up pretty good by Jafar. I was actually pretty surprised that the writers had her not having the upper hand. Most of the time you see Kensi handle her advisories with just her hands pretty easily. I guess what my old Tae Kwon Do instructor said was true. "No matter how good a fighter you are, there is always someone out there who is better than you!" I don't know how she could have gotten up after he slams her to the asphalt of the street or when he ran her face first into a chain link fence! Ouch! That is one tough woman! Great episode!

I actually like that this happens occasionally with Kensi. I mean, she's good, she's *very* good, but it's nice that TPTB have her come up against opponents who are better (Bounty), stronger (Standoff) or just less injured (Blye K II), and show her struggling. It's a bit more realistic than her never getting outmatched.

Now that you mention it, there were indeed a few fights that Kensi had difficulties with... Another one was the fight with Eva in the parking lot (Sacrifice S3 E5).
